G. Lee Gallery specializes in unique, locally crafted, one-of-a-kind art, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, hand tooled wood pens, glass and fiber art, music, Texas historical fiction and children's books. Over 20 local area artists and artisans hand create all the items in the gallery. Many of the items in G. Lee Gallery are not available on the internet because they are only one of a kind.
Each October and November, the Gallery annually sponsors Brushes by the Beach, a plein air painting event, benefiting non-profit partner, Artist Boat. This event, now in its tenth year, has introduced hundreds of artists to Galveston and the joys of painting outdoors on the Island.
The Gallery also hosts SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now) a juried art show every spring. Women artists from across the nation participate in this online, juried show.
Gallery artists regularly hold workshops in painting, jewelry making, paper and glass art and printmaking.
