Music Nite on the Strand
Saengerfest Park comes alive with music every second Saturday of the month, from March through October. Galveston’s top bands perform live, and you can have a front-row seat without spending a dime. Galveston Restaurant Week
From January 6th to the 21st, you can sample the best of the best from Galveston’s impressive food scene at special, unbeatable prices. Additionally, every participating restaurant is giving back to the community by partnering with Access Care of Coastal Texas to provide meals for patients in need. There is a long list of world-class restaurants joining the fun; you can enjoy incredible seafood at Nonno Tony’s Seafood Kitchen, critically-acclaimed Italian cuisine at Riondo’s Restaurante, or classic American fare at Pelican Joe’s.
Mardi Gras! Galveston
The magic of Mardi Gras in Galveston takes over the streets in early February, with thrilling parades, incredible food, and top-notch entertainment. You’ll swear that Galveston does the event just as well (or even better) than New Orleans itself.
Movie Nite on the Strand
Every first Saturday of the month at Saengerfest Park, Galveston residents gather to watch film favorites under the open night sky. Enjoy the gorgeous Texas weather from March through October at this free event. Movies start just after dusk, and be sure to bring a comfy lawn chair or blanket to serve as a seat.
